Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted a man, his wife, son, and two others in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
LEADERSHIP gathered that the attack occurred in the Chikakore area of Kubwa around 12am on Monday.
Sources said approximately 30 armed men, equipped with AK-47 rifles, targeted the home of one Mr Adefija Michael Akinropo, abducting him, his wife, son, and elder brother.
Additionally, the gunmen moved to a nearby building housing a poultry farm, where they kidnapped another man and injured his wife in the process.
When reached for comment, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, stated that she would gather more information about the incident.
“Let me check with the DPO and I will get back to you,” she said.
