The hoodlums were seen looting all sorts of items, including office furniture, air conditioners, and even metal signboards.

The development happens at the same time when #EndBadGovernance protesters stormed the Government House in Kano to protest against hardship and hunger in the country.

A bus belonging to the Channels Television carrying about 11 journalists from different media houses, both print and broadcast, covering the hardship protest, was attacked by the rampaging hoodlums.

The hoodlums used sticks and machetes along Sokoto Road to smash the glasses of the media house bus and those inside were showered with glass particles with a TVC Correspondent receiving minor injury.

Earlier on Thursday morning, at the commencement of the #EndBadGovernance protest, residents marched to the gate of the Government House, where they started chanting anti-government slogans and calling for a change.

Places like Rufaida Youghurt at Kabuga, Kano Printing Press, NCC Office at Audu Bako Secretariat, were among places that have been looted.

Some other private properties were also attacked with some houses close to the Government House looted by hoodlums.
