JUST-IN: Kogi Monarch, Maigari Of Lokoja, Is Dead

The Maigari of Lokoja in Kogi State, His Royal Highness Alh. Dr. Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi III, is dead. He was aged 80.

According to a Palace source, Maigari Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi III died on Wednesday after a brief illness in Abuja.

The source added that the monarch will be buried on Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital city by 4pm.

LEADERSHIP recalls that Maikarfi III ascended the throne in 1992 and had few months ago celebrated his 30th anniversary on the Lokoja traditional stool.
