President Bola Tinubu has approved the posting of three ambassador-designates, out of the 68 nominees earlier confirmed by the Senate in December.

According to a statement by Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga ,the President confirmed the posting of Ambassador Ayodele Oke as Nigeria’s ambassador-designate to France, and Colonel Kayode Are (rtd) as the ambassador-designate to the United States of America.

Also approved was the posting of Ambassador Amin Dalhatu, former ambassador to South Korea, as the high commissioner-designate to the United Kingdom.

The Presidency, in the latest statement on Friday, clarified that no ambassador has been posted to Turkey at this time, as the earlier reference to a Turkey posting of Usman Nasamu Dakingari was undergoing review following a naming mix-up.
