JUST-IN: Terrorists Kill 2, Injure 2 Others Inside Kaduna Mosque

Again, rampaging Terrorists in the early hours of Tuesday waylaid worshipers inside mosque at Sabon Layi, Kakangi Ward in Birnin-Gwari local government, Kaduna State killing two persons and two others sustained serious injuries.

It was gathered that the terrorists stormed the mosque in Ga Allah Babba area of Sabon Layi agrarian community and opened fire in the mosque, killing the Imam and one other person instantly.

The Imam of the mosque, Malam Mamuda and one Kabiru of Unguwar GA ALLAH BABBA were killed. While Bilya Mairabo and Ashiru Mairabo were seriously wounded and are currently receiving medical attention at Jibrin Maigwari General Hospital, Birnin-Gwari.

The Chairman, Birnin-Gwari vanguard for security and good governance Ibrahim Abubakar Nagwari who confirmed the attack said, almost on a daily basis, terrorists are on parole across the entire Birnin-Gwari local government area, killing and abducting innocent citizens.

He said, the situation is more worrisome on Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna highway and has become a nightmare for travellers, breaking security escorts of commuters vehicles by security personnel.

It would be recalled that only recently, terrorists killed a local hunter, Bashir Unguwar Shekarau, and two commercial drivers, Mustapha Adamu and Malam Muktar also known as “Teacher” along the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway of Kaduna State.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Munsur Hassan could not react to the incidence as his phone was not reachable as at the time of filing the report.
