JUST-IN: Tinubu Storms NASS For N54.46trn 2026 Budget Presentation

President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the National Assembly Complex for the presentation of the proposed N54.46 trillion budget (Appropriation Bill) for the 2026 financial year before a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives.

Tinubu arrived at 3pm in company of Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume, ministers, governors, among others.

LEADERSHIP reports that the National Assembly had earlier within the week approved the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF&FSP), setting the parameters for the 2026 budget.
