JUST-IN: Veteran Nollywood Actor, Amaechi Muonagor, Is Dead

Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor, has died.

Muonagor reportedly died on Sunday, March 24, 2024, after suffering from kidney-related issues, diabetes and stroke.

In 2023, he had suffered a stroke that led to partial paralysis of his left leg.

According to findings, he was undergoing weekly dialysis and physiotherapy to treat the paralysis brought on by stroke.

His demise comes just days after he cried out for financial assistance on social media to enable him pay for a kidney transplant.

The actor who hailed from Idemili North LGA of Anambra State, appeared in numerous Nigerian movies.

He was famous for his role in ‘Aki and Pawpaw’, where he played the role od father of two mischief-making young boys.

Amaechi Mounagor is survived by his wife, Hope Chikodi Muonagor, and their children.

His fans have gone on X to mourn his death.

Amaechi Muonagor’s death comes weeks after another Nollywood comic actor, John Okafor, a.k.a Mr Ibu, died.
