During the valedictory session, the Speaker also administered the oath of office to Sakinatu Hassan Idris, the newly appointed clerk of the Assembly.

In addition, five bills were passed into law. These include a bill to amend the provisions related to fines and penalties in the laws of Kaduna State (2023), a bill to establish a social security scheme in the state and address related matters (2023), a bill to repeal the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency No. 17 of 2015 and enact the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency Law (2023), a bill to provide provisions for the development of tech-enabled startups in Kaduna State and other related matters (2023), and a bill to establish provisions for public health in the state and other related purposes (2023).

Following the session, former member representing Zaria City Constituency, Hon. Suleiman Ibrahim Dabo, appealed to the governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, to ensure a productive synergy with the State Assembly. Dabo shared this sentiment while speaking to journalists.
