Kaduna Electric has apologised to customers in some parts of Kaduna State over the ongoing power outage caused by a technical fault affecting electricity supply in the affected areas.
The company said the disruption was due to technical issues with circuit breaker incomers impacting the 11kV State House, Nasfat, Kawo and Zaria Road feeders at the Kawo Injection Substation.
In a statement issued yesterday and signed by management, Kaduna Electric identified the affected areas as Army One Division, Ungwan Gwari, NDC New Extension, Hayin Naiya, Malalin Gabas, Kukumake Village, Kawo Market, Nasfat Village, Farin Gida, Hayin Banki, State House and adjoining communities.
The company added that its technical team had been deployed to the site and was working to restore power supply as quickly as possible.
The company appealed to customers for patience and understanding, while expressing regret over the inconvenience caused.
