Presenting the certificates to the chairmen-elect at the commission’s headquarters in Kaduna, KAD-SIECOM chairman, Hajia Hajara Mohammed, said the election was conducted across the state in accordance with the state’s Electoral Law 2024.

She said the election was the 6th conducted by the commission since its establishment in the year 2000, but that it was the first time elected council members handed over to an elected council.

Mohammed said,”Before I close, I want to commend all the eight political parties who participated in this election, without them, there won’t be a contest.

“As the elected official will soon assume office to discharge their mandates, the commission on the other hand will retrieve from public activities and engrosse post-election period where plans for improved election will be set in motion,” she said.
