Kano State governor-elect Abba K. Yusuf has described the sudden death of his security detail, Abdurrahman Gambo, in an auto accident along Kano-Bichi  federal highway yesterday  as most unfortunate,  worrisome and very sad.

“Abdulrahman, was a passionate and loyal member of my team.  I and everyone around will miss him,” he said.

He  said the death of a dependable ally such as the late detail would not be quantified.

Eye witnesses told reporters that late Gambo’s colleague identified as “China” survived the crash.

China,  according to the eyewitnesses is currently at a health facility positively responding to treatment.
