Kano Govt Appoints Isah To Shura Council

Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Sani Isah, founder/CEO of ASIA Group of Companies, as a member of the Kano State Shura Council.
In a statement by Abubakar Sadiq Muhammad, media aide to Alhaji Sani Isah, he said the appointment takes effect from September 8, 2025.

“This appointment reflects Governor Kabir Yusuf administration’s commitment to revitalizing Shariah implementation agencies for higher productivity and greater impact in the state,” he said.
Alhaji Sani Isah, is a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist, widely known as an advocate of an egalitarian society.

He has consistently champion campaigns against drug abuse, divorce, and immorality, while promoting education through scholarships for less privileged children and providing financial support to households to uplift their livelihood.

The statement added that the appointment is widely seen as a commendable step by the governor, as it brings into the Shura Council a man of proven integrity, social commitment, and deep concern for community development.

Speaking on the appointment, Alhaji Sani Isah expressed gratitude to the governor for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to serve with sincerity and dedication in line with the vision of the administration.
