The Kano State government has revoked lands issued by the government of Abdullahi Ganduje located between Kano State Polytechnic and the Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies.

The revocation was announced to newsmen by the commissioner for lands and physical planning, Abduljabbar Umar, who said Governor Abba Yusuf was empowered by Section 28 of the Land Use Act cap 15 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, to take that decision.

He explained that the alternative site also issued to the institution at Badume in Bichi local government area by the immediate past regime had been taken over by the state government.

Receiving the documents of the land on behalf of the college, Deputy Rector Dija Isa expressed gratitude for the decision taken by the Kano state government.
