As Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary on 1 October, Abuja real estate firm T.Pumpy Concept Limited is set to celebrate this milestone with a novelty football match featuring two football legends, Nwankwo Kanu and Obafemi Martins.

The highly anticipated event will take place at the Riverdo Arena, Airport Road, Lugbe, Abuja, where T.Pumpy FC will face Riverdo FC in a friendly match scheduled for 4:00 p.m. The organisers state that the match aims to promote health, wellness, and national unity beyond mere entertainment.

Speaking on the initiative, T.Pumpy Concept Limited’s Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Akintayo Adaralegbe, said the company chose football for its ability to unite Nigerians across social, cultural, and religious divides.

“Football is more than just a sport—it is therapy, exercise, entertainment, and above all, a symbol of unity.

Through this match, we want to spread the message of love, wellness, and peace as Nigeria turns 65,” he noted.

The involvement of Kanu Nwankwo, a global ambassador for heart health and founder of the Kanu Heart Foundation, underscores the focus on wellbeing. Having overcome personal health challenges, Kanu’s story exemplifies resilience and advocacy. Similarly, Obafemi Martins—popularly known as “Oba Goal”—symbolises determination and triumph, reflecting Nigeria’s broader national journey.

Beyond football, T.Pumpy Concept has built a reputation for developing secure and affordable estates. The company emphasises that its mission goes beyond bricks and mortar, advocating for real estate that fosters peace, inclusivity, and community living.

“Real estate, for us, is about shaping environments where families, friendships, and futures can thrive,” Adaralegbe added.

With Kanu and Martins leading the Independence Day celebrations, T.Pumpy Concept highlights that, just as football requires teamwork, resilience, and discipline, the Nigerian project demands collective effort and shared commitment to progress.

The company encourages Nigerians to not only attend the game but also embrace the values of health, love, and unity in their daily lives.
