The Katsina State government has expressed its commitment to building a competent workforce in the education sector through continuous capacity development and international partnerships aimed at improving service delivery and driving sustainable reforms.
The state governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, made the pledge following the participation of a second Katsina State delegation in a high-level Participatory Leadership and Good Governance programme held in Cairo, Egypt, under the Transforming Education System at State Level (TESS) Project.
Radda described the training as a strategic investment in human capital, saying exposure to global best practices would strengthen institutions, promote accountability, and enhance the implementation of education programmes across the state.
“Our administration remains committed to building the capacity of officials implementing critical education programmes. Exposure to global best practices strengthens institutions, promotes accountability and enhances service delivery for the benefit of our people,” he said.
He added that his government would continue investing in capacity building to equip education stakeholders with the knowledge, skills, and experience required to deliver sustainable reforms, stressing that a competent workforce remains essential to achieving quality education and meeting the aspirations of future generations in Katsina State.
