KEA Group Appoints Irinoye As Executive Director

The Board of Directors and Management of KEA Group, a leading conglomerate based in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, with interests in media, hospitality, and entertainment has announced the appointment of ‘Kemi Irinoye as executive director of the company.

The appointment was announced during a board meeting held recently in Ibadan. The appointment became effective May 1, 2024.

Speaking on the appointment, the Chairman, Board of Directors, KEA Group, Dr. Toba Adisa, described the elevation of Irinoye as Executive Director as well-deserved giving her dedication, commitment, and contributions which have been instrumental to the growth of the group over the last few years.

“I am very pleased to announce the appointment of ‘Kemi Irinoye as Executive Director for KEA Group. The board is confident in her skills, talent and dedication to continue to grow the member companies.
I believe that she is a perfect fit for the job giving her professional history with the companies within the group. I wish her well as she carries out her responsibility in this new role,” Adisa said.

Irinoye who hails from Iwọ, Osun State, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics at Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun State.

Before her elevation to the new role, Irinoye was the Head of Production at KEA Media where she was responsible for collaborating with numerous renowned brands, creating memorable advertisements, events, and shows that resonate with consumers across Nigeria.

Her passion for storytelling and innovation came to prominence through her acclaimed series, ‘Okoto the Series’, capturing in total over 10 million views on YouTube including earning accolades on Africa Magic. She is also the producer of the brand-led reality series ‘Honorable Tungba TV show. Her work in Media continues to speak to the talent and gifts of the true Nigerian spirit

Aside from her contribution to the media, she has served in different capacities to promote community work through the Junior Chambers International (JCI).

Between 2020 and 2021, she was the deputy leader of the Young African Women Congress Network for Nigeria, a non-governmental organisation that addresses women in leadership, politics, entrepreneurship, corporate life, education, gender violence, and reproduction.

The list of companies under the group includes KEA MEDIA Limited, KEA Corporate Hospitality Services, and KEA Caterings Limited.
