Kebbi State governor, Dr Nasir Idris, has greeted Muslims in the state and urged them to show love and support one another as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

He made the appeal after he performed two Raka’ats prayer at the main EId ground in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.

Idris also called  for fervent prayers for the state and the country to enjoy peace, stability and prosperity.

The governor further appealed to the people to continue to pray for leaders at all levels instead of condemning them so that they steer affairs of the nation with utmost patriotism.

He assured the residents of his administration’s commitment to lifting them out of the current hardships through improvement in education, healthcare services, infrastructure and youths and women empowerment.
