A member of the House of Representatives representing Argungu/Augie federal constituency of Kebbi State, Hon Sani Yakubu Noma, has secured a clinic project for his people in the 2024 budget. The project is worth over N100 million.
He made the disclosure yesterday during the mass wedding ceremony of 100 female orphans sponsored by him and held at the Palace of Emir of Argungu under Argungu local government area of Kebbi State.
According to him, the clinic will be constructed in Gozange area in Argungu local government at the cost of over N100 million.
He said he had succeeded in securing the construction of the clinic during plenary at the National Assembly and was supported by many lawmakers particularly from the North West zone.
“The clinic when completed would accommodate many patients in Gwanre and other villages in the area,” he said.
On the sponsored 100 female mass wedding, Noma said the programme will be a yearly event so that those who were not selected will benefit from the gesture next time.
He also presented six vehicles to six people for their support and contributions to his success in the last presidential and National Assembly polls.
