Kebbi Varsity Hails Gov Idris’ Approval Of New Minimum Wage

The management of the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology (KSUSTA), Aliero, has lauded Governor Nasir Idris for the approval and implementation of the new minimum wage for the institution.

The university, owned by the state government, acknowledged the unwavering support and commitment of the governor to staff welfare and the creation of a conducive working environment in the school.

The commendation was made by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Danshehu Bagudu Gwadangaji through the public relations officer of the university, Mustapha Mansur Ango.

He told Journalists on Friday in Birnin Kebbi that Governor Idris is a seasoned administrator, educationist and a dedicated unionist which gave him the opportunity to transform Kebbi State with human capital initiatives, social welfare, and non-partisan approach to governance and infrastructural development.

The VC extended the gratitude of the Governing Council, Senate, management, staff and students of the university to the governor for his support and the elevation of the university.

He said the governor had increase the university’s monthly allocation from N5 million to N15 million, N1.5 million to enhance security services, N119 million for its maiden convocation, appointment of BUA Group chairman, Abdulsamad Isyaka Rabiu as chancellor of the university and the appointment of a seasoned administrator and academician, Professor Bagudu Danshehu as the substantive vice chancellor of the institution.
