Kelly Rowland has revealed the secret to her lasting marriage, and it comes down to something surprisingly simple: actually liking your partner.

The singer and actress, 45, has been married to talent manager Tim Weatherspoon, 52, since 2014, with the couple marking 12 years together last month.
Speaking to the media about her partnership with Eli Lilly’s Ebyglyss eczema treatment, Rowland was candid about what keeps their relationship strong.

“I like him,” she said of her husband. “I genuinely like him as a person. I think he’s a great man … so smart, and handsome, and he has great music taste, and he’s really good with our kids.”

The couple share two sons, Titan Jewell, 11, and Noah Jon, 5, and family togetherness is clearly a priority for the Grammy winner. Rowland brought both boys along for her recent Boy is Mine Tour, where they watched her rehearse ahead of every performance.

However, not every family member was thrilled when the tour wrapped. Rowland revealed that Titan was “not very happy” to miss out on the action at the Forever Mine Music Festival in Chicago last month, and has already been lobbying his mother to launch a new tour so that he can come along for the ride.
