Minister of aviation and aerospace development Festus Keyamo has commiserated with the Delta State government and the family of Mr. Sunny Kotor following the passing of the governor’s protocol officer.
Kotor, who served as senior special assistant on protocol to the Delta State governor, died on Friday after he reportedly slumped.
He was a familiar figure at government events across the state, where he was often called to serve as master of ceremonies. Those who worked with him remember him for his calm demeanour and the professionalism he brought to coordinating high-level functions.
The special adviser on media and research to the minister, Emameh Gabriel, said in a statement that Keyamo described Kotor as a dedicated public servant whose loss would be felt deeply by all who crossed paths with him.
He noted that the late protocol aide carried out his duties with a sense of decorum that added value to official engagements.
The minister also extended his prayers to the bereaved family, their loved ones asking for strength and comfort in the days ahead.
