“With joy and gratitude to God Almighty, we write to announce the release of Rev. Fr. Ibrahim Amos, who was abducted on 24th April 2025 at his residence at St. Gerald Quasi Parish, Kurmin Risga, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
“Fr Amos returned unharmed on Thursday, 24th April 2025.
“Although his abduction caused a surge of worry, the concern shown by people of goodwill – those who occupy the social media space, the different faith communities, the security personnel within and outside Kaduna State, such as the local vigilante group, police and the Department of the State Security Service is overwhelming.
“Your kind gestures, love and prayers are a testament to the fact that we are not alone in the struggle to respect and promote the dignity of human life.
“While we appreciate God for everything, we equally want to thank everyone for walking and praying with us in such a dark and terrible moment.
“May the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of priests, religious, and all the angels, intercede for those in captivity and bring them back to their families and communities safe and sound, Amen,” he stated.
