Kogi Governor Hails Tinubu’s Drive For Education, National Growth

Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has commended President Bola Tinubu for his unwavering commitment to education and national development.

The governor gave the commendation on Friday while inspecting the facilities at Oke-Ibukun Model Secondary School. He emphasised that the state-of-the-art school stands as a testament to his administration’s dedication to providing quality education and empowering young people.

Governor Ododo expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for his visionary leadership and continuous support for the education sector.

He noted that the school’s modern facilities would significantly enhance students’ learning experiences and equip them with the necessary skills to excel academically.

The governor explained that the inspection tour was aimed at assessing the progress of ongoing projects to ensure they align with the government’s development agenda and specifications.

He further noted that the Oke-Ibukun Model Secondary School is one of the flagship projects initiated under the former administration of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.

According to him, the project demonstrates the government’s commitment to investing in education and human capital development.

The Olu of Oke-Ibukun, His Royal Highness Oba Timothy Ige, on behalf of the community, expressed appreciation to Governor Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the establishment of the school. He pledged the community’s support for the government’s efforts in promoting education and development in the area.

Chief Ige added that the Oke-Ibukun Model Secondary School is poised to become a benchmark for other schools in the state, providing a conducive learning environment for students to thrive.
