Darul-Kitab Foundation for Relief and Social Peace, in partnership with the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), has launched a livelihood empowerment programme targeting 440 vulnerable Nigerians.

The beneficiaries include internally displaced persons and low-income households.

The initiative, unveiled in Abuja, aims to promote economic stability through sustainable income opportunities.

Its founder, Sheikh Abdulkadri Salman, said the beneficiaries would receive poultry starter kits, tricycles for transport services and PoS machines to support small businesses and improve financial inclusion.

He said the intervention was designed to move the participants beyond temporary relief to self-reliance.
