Hamma Adama Ali Kumo has called for unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC)following the emergence of Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna as the party’s consensus candidate for the Gombe State governorship election in 2027.

In a statement released in Abuja, Kumo said Gwamna’s choice demonstrated the party’s commitment to consensus-building and internal cohesion.

He described the candidate as a credible and experienced leader capable of advancing the party’s agenda in the state.

He urged the other aspirants to rally behind Gwamna, noting that their collective support would be crucial to securing the APC’s victory.

He also praised Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for fostering stability and development, as well as for overseeing a smooth consensus process.

Kumo reaffirmed his backing for the governor’s senatorial ambition, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver effective representation.

He said the alignment of party stakeholders behind both Gwamna and  Yahaya would strengthen the APC’s prospects in the state.

Mr Kumo called on party members and voters to remain committed to the APC, voicing optimism about continued electoral success and development in Gombe.
