Kwara State government has approved the implementation of the 2025 promotion for its civil servants.
It equally approved the 2024 and 2025 promotion for workers in agencies, parastatals and media houses, with effect from September 1, 2026.

The acting head of Service (HoS), Dr Olufunke Shittu, revealed this in a memo on the implementation of the promotion exercises, following the completion of the necessary processes by the Civil Service Commission and the affected establishments, as well as the approval of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Shittu said the approval also provided for the implementation of the 2024 and 2025 promotions for agencies, parastatals and media houses, following the conclusion of the required processes and assessment of their financial implications.

She said the government also approved the implementation of the 2025 promotion for workers in the mainstream of the State Civil Service, while drawing of the financial benefits will be effective from 1 September, 2026.
