The State’s Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr Afees Abolore, disclosed this on Thursday, in Ilorin, the State capital.
He said the money will be paid directly into the accounts of the beneficiaries for accountability and transparency.
Abolore reiterated the commitment of the State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, to students’ welfare.
He assured that the list generated from the Nigerian Law School shall be put to use to ensure that disbursement was carried out accordingly.
He added that his ministry, in collaboration with the State Scholarship Board, would take swift action to ensure that the disbursement commences with immediate effect.
The Commissioner also congratulated Omotayo Dada, an indigene of the State for emerging the overall best graduating student at the Nigerian Law School.
