Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has inaugurated five new Commissioners and a Special Adviser.
The governor also effected a minor cabinet reshuffle that saw four commissioners swapping offices.
The swearing-in was preceded by the State Executive Council (SEC) meeting presided over by the governor.
The new cabinet members are: Alhaji Agbaje Wahab (Whyte), who has been assigned to man the Ministry of Water Resources; Ibrahim Akaje (Business, Innovation and Technology); Adenike Harriet Oshatimehin (Solid Minerals); Dr. Afeez Abolore (Tertiary Education); and Lateef Alakawa Gidado (Agric).
In the minor cabinet reshuffle, Arc. Aliyu Mohammed Saifudeen moved from Local Government to Housing and Urban Development, replaced by Aliyu Kora Sabi who was before now in the Ministry of Energy.
Sabi is replaced by Mariam Ahmed Hassana, who until now was the Commissioner for Special Duties, while Olaitan Buraimah moves to Ministry of Special Duties.
The governor also inaugurated Atiku Abdusalam as Special Adviser on Civic Engagement.
He charged the cabinet members to work as a team for a better service delivery to the people of Kwara State.
