Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has appointed Hon. Mashood Mustapha as the leader of the state’s contingent to the 2027 Muslim pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
Mustapha’s appointment was announced in a statement signed by the governor’s deputy chief press secretary, AbdulRafiu Agboola.
Popularly known as MM, the Wakili is a seasoned entrepreneur, public servant, and community leader. He is the chairman of the Crystal Group of Companies, a former cabinet member, and a member of the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015.
He is an alumnus of Kwara State Polytechnic, Lagos State University, and Rome Business School (Italy).
The Ameerul Hajj will coordinate the state’s 2027 hajj exercise along with other statutory bodies at various levels of government.
