As part of its commitment to assist individuals battling drug addiction, SoftAlliance has partnered with the Lagos State government to tackle the challenges associated with the drug menace by organising its second impactful outreach for drug addicts in various communities across Lagos State.

The outreach was organised through its Corporate Social Responsibility arm, SoftAlliance for Good (SAFG), an initiative designed to transform lives in communities.

This initiative, launched on May 19, 2023, reflects SoftAlliance’s long-term commitment to transforming lives and restoring hope.

The event featured free medical checkups, clothes, shoes, essential toiletries donations, and personal counselling moments to uplift and encourage the beneficiaries.

In his remarks, Seun Ademokun, the general manager of administration and human resources at SoftAlliance, who represented the managing director, Bisi Aina, urged beneficiaries to use the outreach to rewrite their stories and rebrand their lives.

“This outreach is more than an act of goodwill; it’s a chance to rewrite your story. Take this opportunity to rebrand your life, find healing, and grow into the best version of yourself. We believe in your potential, and we’re here to support your journey,” he said

The Director of Technical Services at SoftAlliance, Mr Babatunde Ojumu, noted that the company strives to influence and inspire the beneficiaries to make the right choices to become better individuals in society.”

To ensure that individuals identified at the outreach who needed help receive maximum rehabilitation, the company has arranged for them to be taken to a rehabilitation centre. There, they will receive comprehensive medical care, psychological counselling, and life skills training to aid full reintegration into society.

According to him, the firm has continued demonstrating that corporate impact extends beyond boardrooms into the heart of their communities through the initiative.
