The Lasgidi Prestigious Awards 2025 organisers have called for nominations of outstanding individuals, organisations, and innovators that have made Lagos great.
The grand event will be held on Sunday, 23rd November 2025, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is expected to receive the Lasgidi Special Recognition Award of Excellence 2025.
It is described as a world-class recognition platform that honours those who exemplify excellence, innovation, leadership, and community impact. From business moguls to cultural icons, from tech innovators to grassroots changemakers, Lagos is celebrating Lasgidians who are doing exceptionally well.
Nomination is now open in the following categories: Leadership & Governance, Business & Entrepreneurship, Arts, Culture & Entertainment, Education & Research, Innovation & Technology, Sports & Tourism, Community Service & Philanthropy
According to Amb. Kingsley Tolulope Agboola, the event’s project coordinator, encourages members of the public to submit nominations via the official social media platform.
An independent committee will carefully review each nomination based on measurable impact, industry achievements, leadership value, and contributions to the development of Lagos State.

The event is designed to promote the potential of tourism and the rich cultural value of Lagos State.
