House of Representatives member representing Ojo Federal Constituency. Hon. Seyi Sowunmi, has unveiled a modern art and skill acquisition centre in Ojo federal constituency to facilitate rapid economic growth.

He said the centre, with a capacity of over 480 learners per cohort, was established to empower the youth and women in the constituency with highly sought-after skills.

Sowunmi assured that the rare opportunity will enable learners to compete favourably with their counterparts across the country and the world, providing them with a platform to benefit from the robust opportunities in the global vocational space.

According to Sowunmi, the vision is about growth, empowerment, opportunities for youths and women to assert themselves in vocational skills needed to strive and contribute meaningfully to the economy.

He said, “The Ojo Skills Acquisition and Capacity Building Programme is not just another initiative. It is a seed being planted for stronger and more prosperous Ojo residents, paving the way for a better tomorrow.

“Ojo as a constituency is blessed with vibrant markets, brilliant youths, creative artisans, determined women, and hardworking residents, hence the need for the initiative to help the upcoming youths and women in this category.
