Leadway Assurance Clinches ‘Best Innovation In SME Insurance Services’ Award

Leadway Assurance Company Limited has won the ‘Best Innovation In SME Insurance Services of the Year 2024” Award.at the 4th Nigeria National SME Business Awards (NNSBA) held in Victoria Island, Lagos State recently.

The event, organised by the Association of Small Business Owners of Nigeria (ASBON) in collaboration with the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investment, aimed to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to the nation’s economy.

The president/chairman of Council, Ken Opara, delivered a goodwill message at the event, highlighting the government’s initiatives to support SMEs, including the disbursement of N60 billion from the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN’j via the Agric Small and Medium Enterprises Investment Scheme.

Dr. Opara emphasised Leadway Assurance’s commitment to empowering SMEs through innovative insurance solutions tailored to their needs.

On his part, the president, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria(CIBN), Edwin Igbiti, commended Leadway Assurance and other SMEs for their resilience, determination, and commitment to excellence.
