In honour of Women’s History Month, Leora Nigeria presented an exclusive art exhibition featuring solely female artists from Abuja and across Nigeria.

The showcase not only highlighted the rich talents of women but also underscored the company’s dedication to empowering women in the arts and nurturing artistic expression within the local community.

The event showcased a diverse array of mediums such as graphic design, painting, photo juxtaposition, horticulture, and mixed media. Every artwork presented a distinct viewpoint, providing a glimpse into the diverse experiences and creative visions of women artists.

The co-Founder of Leora Consults, Charley Babayaro, expressed excitement about celebrating the talent and creativity of women artists through this unique endeavour.

According to Charley, “Art possesses the ability to inspire, stimulate reflection, and initiate significant dialogues. We firmly believe in the importance of elevating the voices of women within the creative realm, both locally and globally.”

Leora Nigeria has consistently championed the arts, emphasizing its commitment to promoting both emerging and established talents.

For more than five years, the company has been instrumental in providing a stage for artists to exhibit their creations, thereby cultivating a dynamic and inclusive artistic environment.

The founders of Leora Consults collectively boast over 10 years of expertise in media, communication, advertising, and project management.

Their profound comprehension of the creative sector underscores their recognition of art’s transformative influence on society.

Under their guidance, Leora Nigeria has evolved into a central hub for artists and creatives, offering avenues for collaboration, development, and self-expression.

The co-founder of Leora Consults, Elo Odibo-Madaki, shared, “From our early days before university, to our experiences in Kenya and Ghana, we recognised the need to bring people together.

“It has been our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to provide a platform for artists, amplifying their voices for the world to hear.”

The all-women art exhibition not only honoured the achievements of women in the arts but also underlined the significance of gender diversity within the creative domain.

Through their advocacy for women artists, Leora Nigeria strives to motivate upcoming generations and establish a path towards a more inclusive and fair art community.
