All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Bauchi State in the 2023 general elections, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar (rtd) has said that he is solidly behind all APC candidates in Saturday’s local government elections in the state.
He said the APC are more prepared to provide leadership that will yield meaningful dividends to the electorates.
Abubakar, while speaking with APC supporters in Bauchi yesterday, explained that the electorates should elect people who are willing, committed and concerned for grassroots development at the local government levels.
Abubakar called on the APC supporters and members to come out and participate in the election by casting votes for all APC candidates, chairmen, and councillors.
He also appealed for peaceful conduct before, during, and after the elections. “APC is a party that builds, not a destructive party; therefore, we want a peaceful process. I am calling on them not to betray the candidates and APC,” he added.
He said, “I have two messages. First, I pray that God will see the candidates through. May God grant all candidates of the APC victory at the polls, both Chairmanship and Councillorship. After winning, may God grant them the grace to be fair to all and lead the people well. Election is one thing, but the ability to discharge responsibility well is a big task.
