Members of Miyyatti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN) in Kebbi State have been charged to shun any act capable of tarnishing the image of Fulanis and the association in the state.

The charge was made by the national president of the association, Alhaji Baba Usman, during the inauguration of the newly elected members of MACBAN, Kebbi State Chapter, held at Buro Farm in Birnin Kebbi.

He lamented that the name and dignity of Fulanis were spoiled before the eyes of the world and there is need for the new EXCO of MACBAN in the state to contribute in minimising such negative narrative by Fulanis.

Baba commended the efforts of the former leadership both at national and state levels for their quality leadership and the successful conduct of the election which led to the emergence of the new EXCO of MACBAN in Kebbi.

He also commended the efforts of Governor Nasir Idris in transforming Kebbi State with projects that touched the lives of the people.

Speaking shortly after the election, the new chairman of MACBAN Kebbi State Chapter, Attahiru A. Ka’oje lauded the efforts of all stakeholders in ensuring the successful election in the state.
