I got to Luba’s office quite early. We had decided to use her offices for the interview right from when we where placing the adverts for the job. Thankfully today, she was in good spirits and laughed with nearly all the morning applicants. I was more pensive because I was no close to getting the employee I wanted. To me, the ones we have interviewed so far, all seemed inexperienced, inspite of their well written CVs and experiences. I sighed as we took a five minute break. Luba handed me a cup of coffee, “ Drink up Maimuna,” from the look on your face, I know you need this.” I took a sip,”Kai, Luba. These folks are underperforming.” Luba laughed out loud. “Yes, I mean why do you think I was laughing? They are quite hilarious and this helps ease the stress.” I raised a brow, “I actually thought you were laughing with them.” Luba shook her head, “Nope, I was technically laughing at them.”
