We had to put a pause to the interviews and take on the rest of the applicants tomorrow. This was after we had spoken to Musa at length about what his duties entailed. As he stood up and walked to the door, I was almost tempted to say, “Please if you have a twin brother or sister we would like to employ them too.” But of course the look Luba gave me discouraged any spontaneous attitude. “Seriously Maimuna, I may be just as impressed as you with Musa’s performance but don’t make it too obvious.” She chided and I knew why. We do not want to make him feel indispensable. He was already okay with the salary package and that was a good sign. I shrugged, “Okay, I’ll be discreet. The young man is a genius like me. I like celebrating little geniuses,” I joked. Luba raised a brow at me, then smiled. She looked tired, it has been a long day.
