The late 68-year-old Chiemele resided at Oba Kabiru Street in the Isolo area of Lagos.

It was gathered that the tragic incident was due to a misunderstanding between the father and his son which led to the death of the man on Thursday evening.

Spokesman of the State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the murder case and the arrest of the suspect to newsmen on Friday in Lagos.

He remarked that the murder case was reported by one of the deceased’s children at the Aswani police division.
