Manchester United Close-in-on Ederson After Personal Terms Agreed

Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of securing the signing of Atalanta midfielder Ederson, with the Brazilian having agreed personal terms with the Old Trafford club.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ederson has paused all discussions with other interested parties since last week, signaling his intent to join the Red Devils.

Negotiations between Manchester United and Atalanta for a package deal worth approximately €45m (£38m) have been ongoing for several weeks. The ball is now firmly in United’s court, as they decide whether and when to proceed with finalising the transfer.

Should the deal go through, Ederson would become a significant addition to Erik ten Hag’s squad as they look to strengthen their midfield options.
