Scores of people were injured while several goods were destroyed yesterday when suspected armed robbers who were fleeing from policemen rammed into street traders along Bishop Okoye Street in Mile Three Area of Port Harcourt.
However, three of them were later arrested along Abuja By-Pass, also in the Mile Three Area of Port Harcourt, by detectives from the Olu Obasanjo Police Station.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the suspected armed robbers drove with speed into Bishop Okoye Street as they were being chased by operatives from both Olu Obasanjo Police Division and Nkpolu Oroworokwo Police Division, all located within the Mile Three axis.
A trader in the street, who simply identified herself as Rachael told our correspondent that they were in the market when they saw a Sienna vehicle with four occupants brandishing guns with their heads out of the windows of the vehicles.
