Kaduna State governor, Senator Uba Sani has stated that in compliance with the National Minimum Wage Act, no civil servant in the state is earning less than N70,000.

The Governor who reiterated his antecedents as a human rights activist, further said that the least paid worker in Kaduna State is being paid N72,000 in view of his belief in the dignity of labour.

Addressing workers at Murtala Square at the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration on Thursday, Governor Sani recalled that he had been in streets to agitate for the return of democracy and workers rights in the past.

He, however, acknowledged that incremental adjustment of salaries has not been resolved, promising that the issue will be resolved.

The governor further said that the upliftment of the living conditions of pensioners is of topmost priority to his administration.
