Kylian Mbappé has publicly refuted what he calls “false things” regarding his recent knee injury, which has limited his play for Real Madrid.
The French striker, who has been recovering from a sprained left knee since early March, stated at a promotional event in France that his knee is “fine” and “getting better.”
Mbappé expressed frustration with “a lot of speculation” and unverified claims surrounding his health, attributing it to “the life of a top athlete.” Real Madrid had previously confirmed a re-aggravation of a December injury, opting for a conservative treatment approach.
Despite his recent limited appearances, Mbappé is part of the France squad for upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Colombia in the United States. His return will be crucial as Real Madrid remains in contention for LaLiga and prepares for a Champions League quarterfinal against Bayern Munich.
