Mike Tyson is “doing great” following a reported health scare the former heavyweight champion had on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday.

According to a report by In Touch Weekly, Tyson — who is scheduled to face Jake Paul in a boxing match July 20 — had a medical issue that required paramedics to board the plane upon landing and assist.

“Thankfully Mr. Tyson is doing great,” Tyson’s representatives said in a statement. “He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”

There were rumors that the flight was delayed because of Tyson’s medical issue, but his representatives debunked that.

“It’s false reporting that his medical attention caused the flight delay,” the rep stated. “This two-hour delay was due to an air conditioning issue on the aircraft.”
