The minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, has announced a replacement for the managing director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Capt Rabiu Yadudu, whose tenure has expired.

Sirika replaced Yadudu with Kabir Yusuf Mohammed after the expiration of the erstwhile FAAN boss tenure on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

LEADERSHIP reports that President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Capt. Yadudu as FAAN MD, on a single tenure of four years on May 20, 2019.

Speaking to LEADERSHIP, the secretary general, Aviation Round Table Initiative (ARTI), Capt. John Ojikutu (rtd), revealed that Capt. Yadudu has been replaced.

Though, LEADERSHIP’s effort to confirm from the authorities proved abortive as a text message sent to the spokesperson of FAAN, Faithful Hope-Ivbaze, was not replied as at the time of filing this report.
