Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, has paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the Bala Waja, Alhaji Muhammad Danjuma Muhammad, at his Palace in Talasse, Balanga LGA, Gombe State following the death of their beloved son, the commissioner for internal security, the late Col Abdullahi Bello (rtd.).
LEADERSHIP recalls that the late Bello passed away in a ghastly motor accident alongside his police orderly, Sergeant Adamu Husaini recently.
The minister extolled the legacies of the late commissioner, which was characterised by hard work and the love for humanity, adding that the passing of a good son of the soil is always painful, but the legacies he left behind can not be forgotten.
According to him, “The death of the commissioner for internal security, Col. Abdullahi Bello (rtd) is an irreparable loss to Gombe State and Nigeria as a whole. He was a man of honour, discipline, and selfless service whose legacy of excellence will remain indelible.
“Being a successful security officer, Col. Bello has set an exemplary record of service through his dedication to service. His legacies will continue to inspire future generations, especially those in leadership and public service.”
According to the special adviser to the minister on media, Umar Alkali Jibril, the minister prayed that Allah will reward the late Bello for his good deeds and grant him a place in Al-Jannah Firdaus.He also prayed that Allah gives the entire family, the Bala Waja and people of Balanga LGA, Gombe South, the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
