The League of Progressive Groups in Nigeria (LPGN) has congratulated the immediate-past governor of Kebbi State, Senator Atiku Bagudu, over his deployment to the Federal Ministery of Budget and Economic Planning, describing his choice for the position by President Bola Tinubu as “well-deserved”.

The group said Bagudu’s appointment to man the Budget and Economic Planning Ministry was a testament to his unwavering dedication, proven track record, and extensive expertise in economics and banking.

According to a statement signed by the National Coordinator of LPGN, Hon. Bashar Aliyu Buhari, the group noted that Senator Bagudu’s background in banking and his exceptional knowledge of the economy were commendable assets that will greatly enhance the nation’s budgetary process.

“With his deep understanding of financial matters, we are confident that under his leadership, the government’s budget will not only be crafted more effectively, but also designed to be realistic and implementable, thus paving the way for tangible development across all sectors of the Nigerian economy.
