Monique Pearls Laid To Rest As Husband And Son Bid Emotional Farewell

Mourners gathered under grey skies on Saturday, 6 June 2026, as popular TikTok creator Monica Oma Owunaka, known as Monique Pearls, was laid to rest.

The 30-year-old died on 21 May 2026. Her family confirmed the news on 28 May. She leaves behind her husband, Emmanuel, and their one-year-old son, Lael.

At the graveside, emotions ran high. Guests wept as a white casket was lowered into the ground.

Her husband and young son stood together for a final goodbye, a moment that left many in tears.

The funeral was attended by family, friends, fellow content creators and fans. Many had followed her journey online over the years.
