Moses Bliss Recounts Wife’s Battle With Strange Ailment

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Moses Bliss, has moved fans to tears after sharing a harrowing testimony regarding a mysterious health crisis faced by his wife, Marie, shortly after the birth of their first child.

The singer, who has kept the ordeal private until now, opened up during a recent ministration at the Mountain Experience event, describing the period as a significant test of the family’s faith.

According to the singer, the ailment began while the couple was still overseas following the delivery of their baby last year. Bliss recounted that the situation was critical, noting that his wife suffered from severe physical distress that prevented her from performing basic functions.

“She couldn’t breathe, and she couldn’t lie on her stomach or her back. She was in severe pain,” Bliss told the congregation, adding that he broke down in tears as they moved from one hospital to another.

He further explained that despite numerous consultations and clinical tests in different hospitals, doctors were unable to provide a definitive diagnosis or explain the cause of the discomfort. The situation became so demanding that a relative had to move in with the couple to assist in caring for their newborn son while they sought medical solutions.

The singer, known for his deep spiritual lyrics, noted that when medical reports failed to provide a breakthrough, he felt a divine leading to intervene through prayer while travelling back to Nigeria.

He narrated how he spent time preaching to his wife and praying with her, using various scriptures to build her spirit. The breakthrough reportedly came shortly after he travelled to London for an engagement, where he received a call confirming that Marie had been discharged and was fully restored to health.

The couple, who married in February 2024 in a high-profile media event.
