So, I’m thinking. Minimum wage is definitely an important issue judging by the harsh economy and standard of living in the country. But for those who do not understand my reasoning hear me out once again.

If minimum wage is increased, PRICES OF FOOD AND OTHER COMMODITIES WILL STILL SKYROCKET. While the intentions and minimum wage pursuits of the Union is good, people would still be worse off than they were if atrocious prices of commodities is not squarely addressed.

The issue again, is NOT MINIMUM WAGE, but ADDRESSING THE PRESENT ATROCIOUS FOOD AND COMMODITY PRICES. There, it wasn’t so difficult highlighting this here. I went to the market with Farida and almost wept at what food prices had become. Let’s sit and think about this shall we? Before making a rash decisions.
